The eighth track of my sophomore album, Hiraeth.

Wow! Only one more left and the albums out. This one is sort of a center piece of the record for me, and really encapsulates everything I was feeling while writing it. The word Hiraeth is Welsh in origin, and has a few specific meanings. The one that resonates with me in particular is as follows: (n.) homesickness for a home to which you cannot return, a home which maybe never was; the nostalgia, the yearning, the grief for the lost places of your past. Last year, I had really negative falling outs with a few close friends, which led to homes I felt at place in being destroyed. I struggled so intensely with this, and this track is a deconstruction of everything running through my head at the time. I hope you enjoy!
